"They deserve 0 star the fellow drive forklift very rude with delivery driver give hime lesson how to deal all delivery driver beings respects !"
"These folks were fantastic. The order support, the delivery, right up to the return of leftover product. Definitely a great choice even for a homeowner led order."
"Great place and great people. Very knowledgeable about all types of roofing styles and materials you might need for any type of roof."
"I am extremely disappointed in my experience with convoy. If I could leave zero stars I would. This the first review I have ever left in my life, but my experience with convoy today was that terrible. I called them to get a quote on some material and when they gave me the total I tried to pay over the phone, but they wouldn’t accept payment on the phone. I was upset about this and In response to my frustration the person on the phone hung up on me. I sent my client down to pick up the material and to pay and since they had pulled the materials and given me a quote I didn’t think to tell him what the total it should be. First when my client arrived and asked for the order the sales person was extremely rude and short with him and second (and most important) he charged my client $160 more than I was quoted!!!. When I found this out I called convoy and was told that this was because I got upset. How can a company base their prices on how much they like a conversation with you? How can they tell you a price and then charge your client hundreds more? I’ll definitely be keeping my business to Pioneer, Allied and ABR from here on out. ***the owner’s response is not correct. I am guessing your employee did not accurately convey what I said. I said one swear word and not as insult or even in response to not being able to take my card over the phone. He was being extremely rude and unprofessional the entire conversation. When my client was charged $160 more than the quote and I called back- he responded “I can charge whatever I want and next time maybe you won’t swear at me.” Thus admitting that the price increase was a vengeful act. If me saying, “just get the f**ing rolls ready” Is an attack or warrants a price increase you all might want to start selling women’s clothing. I’m a roofer. I will be letting my local roofing and builder’s groups know about this."
"I bought roofing material from Convoy, Lynwood store in June/July timeframe. I ordered on phone. Jim was on other side. He was very courteous and professional. I am really happy with the ordering experience. Delivery was also on time and professional. Now the suboptimal part: I did my roof in 2 phases. in first phase, I ordered Plywood and Lumber as part of roofing supplies from Convoy. Sorry to say but the quality of plywood and lumber was pathetic. Plywood seems really low quality, not strong at all, with slicks coming out here and there. Similarly lumber (2x6x8) feel like as if they are leftovers from ages. Nobody can say it was a top dollar quality material. The logic was since it has to go in roof and no one walks over roof, its doesn't matter. I don't like that logic at all. Rest of the packed supplies - tpo, screws, plates, vents and so on seems to be good quality. Seeing the poor quality for plywood, for phase 2 of my project, I decided to buy plywood and lumber from home depot and rest of roofing supplies from convoy (since home depot dont sell TPO supplies). Home depot quality for plywood and lumber was far superior that Convoys whereas the price was exactly the same. Second thing I don't like is that Convoy gave me a wrong 2 inch insert for water outlets which my roof inspector rejected during inspection since it doesn't match the spec he ordered. In the process, the roofer already cut the metal scupper to fit in which we have to remove later. Inspector told me that I would be able to return the material since it is faulty on Convoys part but Convoy denied to return since scuppers were cut. Last, I had a un-used box of deck fast plates that we never used. Convoy refused to return that saying that the box seal was open. I am not sure if they sold me open seal box because I am certain that neither me or my roofer touched that box. No biggie in terms of money, but just a sub optimal experience. No where close to home depot or any other hardware store per say.. My suggestion to all buyers is just carefully inspect the material before you buy anything."
