"Update: owner/head chef appears to be out on vacation on 1/19/2024 visit. Food quality noticiby sub-par. Soups are watered down. Dim sum dishes and some entrees are alright though. YMMV. Authentic Chinese food in Kenmore? That's right. Fortune Inn reopened in August 2023 under new ownership with renovations. They have 3 chefs who specialize in ethnic Schezwan/Sichuan (spicy), Cantonese dim sum, or stir-fry. The dim sum is made fresh to order. The Sichuan uses plenty of chili peppers and peppercorns. There's a little something for everyone. Go check them out."

"I came here for lunch and it was yum and also so very peaceful. Got to stare out at trees while I ate good food with good portions. Super sweet staff and pretty interior as well. Parking was free and easy. Would recommend!"

"This is currently based on one meal! I ordered mapo tofu and a side of rice. I haven't been able to find a restaurant in the area that does good mapo tofu but this one was really good! I'll definitely be back for that and to try other items off the menu. Inside the restaurant looked really clean and put together, the service was really friendly and quick. I think they are under new management, so check them out if you haven't"

"First time here and really liked it! The menu doesn't indicate what is vegetarian but the waitress was super helpful! The lunch menu is reasonably priced and the dishes were generous. We will definitely come again!"

"Finally great dim-sum in Kenmore! We had the many different dumplings, shrimp wrapped in tofu skin, tripe (best tripe we have ever had), chicken dish, and soup. Everything was seasoned well and not oily. All the food is amazing, the new owners are young and full of energy and vision! So excited to see this place grow. Don't look at reviews prior to 2023. New ownership!"
