"Great working with a staff there. Very helpful and knowledgeable. They help me with my small business, and offer great discounts"
"I visited the store in Sequim today and was helped by Peter. He was very helpful and kind. He put me at ease while he helped me pick out a color, he gave me a brochure and other samples to ponder. He gave me suggestions to look at the colors in different light sources and at night. He even offered me some coffee."
"I had needed a can of touchup paint for the Rodda paint used on my home's exterior, where the weather had affected a trim board around the bottom. When I called, they found my paint on file from the original painter. I gave them the paint number from the paint cans left by that painting company about 7 years ago. I had only bought one other touchup paint for the interior woodwork from them since the house was professionally painted. During our phone call, the Rodda store manager, Evan, found the correct paint to mix from the 4 different ones on file, and had it ready in under an hour. When I got home, the color matched so well to my old paint sample that I couldn't tell the difference, although I had not had a chance to bring in the paint sample for comparison. I was very pleased and surprised to find the cost for the quart came under the amount originally quoted, because they gave me their generous Customer Loyalty discount. I have also gotten some paint supplies there in the past that were not available elsewhere, such as paint pole extenders to avoid getting on a ladder. This business is a real asset to the community, especially for homeowners."
"My review is based mainly on the man who matches colors whose name I can't remember, but he has sandy-colored hair and a beard. This man knows what he's doing, and he matched my paint sample PERFECTLY. The color is no longer made by the original manufacturer and I've had not so great matches from home depot in the past. This is going to be my paint store from now on."
"Bought a lot of paint during sale in October. Painting interior room by room. Took six gallons in for reshake last week and there was literally no one in the shop but still the worker was rude. Then today I stopped in for some paint trays, $15 worth of supplies, and that same kid challenged whether I had permission to use my husband’s account. I paid and left. I called to talk to him and he told me they’ve had a huge problem with people using other people’s Rodda paint store accounts and so he is required to ask if people have permission. Then he told me since he doesn’t know me he didn’t use the account I gave him anyway. I asked if the policy is to require permission in writing or to check id and he said it’s just if he knows the person. BS. I’ve always been treated respectfully in this small town store, but today really made me question whether Home Depot isn’t a better option for me. Can’t get a uniform fair treatment, or a clear statement on policy."
