Olive's African Hair Braiding

"This was my first time getting faux locs. Olive arrived 20 minutes due to have a second degree burn on her chest . I suggested we reschedule and she declined. My hair is very short and she charged me 235 when she initially said 200 if I had short hair. It took 5 hours to finish my hair. My real hair can be seen in more then half the locs. I tried to put my hair up in a bun and an entire loc fell out. I went back and she fixed it. Olive is a very kind women and maybe she had an off day but the results are not worth the time and money I spend. I am disappointed."

"She does great work! She had no fear about doing white people's hair. In the past, it had been difficult to get someone to do my hair because it is fine "white people's hair". Not Olive! She said, "I can do anyone's hair". We gave it a try and I had instant beautiful hair like the sisters. Her prices are very reasonable too. And she has air conditioning so we don't have to suffer. It's like one of those places you see on TV where it is so homey that people come in to visit and talk politics, local events, whatever. She treats her clients so well. Bottled water, juice, sometimes snacks too. Always candy from the candy basket. She doesn't take cards anymore. She got fed up with getting ripped off from people not having the funds in their cards to pay for their service."
