"I went to fred Meyer jeweler's with my mom and had a horrible experience. The sales associate Justin was cold, rude and kept changing the price on the ring we wanted without explanation. He would barely talk to us and when he did he was rude and demeaning, me and my mom (who's in a wheelchair) felt like he was judging us and not expecting us to buy anything. We bought the ring we wanted and left. I wanted to also buy my mom a gold necklace to go with her ring but we were made to feel so uncomfortable by the associate Justin that we just left. He made a special mother's day outing for my Beautiful mom who deserves the world a very uncomfortable and awkward experience. He should not be in customer service and should treat ALL people with respect, you never know what someone is going thru."
"I bought a pendant for my daughter for mother's day plus their lifetime car plan. Just every other pendant in their case, it came with a cheap looking thin chain. The chain has broken 2x before and they fixed it. This time, the chain broke while we were at a family Thanksgiving event. We were lucky to find the pendant but after hours of looking, never found what was left of the chain! I took the pendant in to this Fred meyer jewelry store and asked them to replace the chain as I believed it was coveted under their care plan. What they failed to tell me is the chain was a "complimentary chain" and isn't covered to fix unless I have it!! If it wasn't for a metal detector, she would have lost the pendant completely bc of the cheap chains they use in store!! Now I have to go buy a separate chain and ANOTHER care plan for the new chain??? Not there. Not at Fred meyer jewelry!! I'll go back to Zales in Tacoma. I would rather drive an hour to be treated properly by my favorite jewelry store than buy another cheap product from Fred meyer jewelry. They don't care about the money you. Zales absolutely does!!"
"The manager at Fred Meyer jeweler damaged my ring. I went in and complained that the diamonds keep falling out but because I don't have a care plan, they don't care. Obviously my ring is faulty and I had already paid once to replace a diamond. The woman who took my ring that day said that she was going to see if she could just get me a new ring because that shouldn't be happening. She also gave me an estimate of $35 for the repair. Over a month later I called them to check on the status of my ring. They told me it would be $180! For the tiniest diamond! I paid $65 the first time! When I informed them of that, they said never mind it's only $80! They told me it was fixed and ready and that they had called me, but they had not called. I told them I had not consented for them to fix it, and told them I would not pay $80 either. She said that she would have a manager call me, she did not. I went into the store the next day because I had not heard back. I asked for the manager who told me she was new and couldn't believe that someone there told me I might just get a new ring. After going back and forth with her that I didn't even want to pay the $65 that I was charged the first time just over one year ago because no one called me back, no one told me how much it would be, and all they could keep saying is because you don't have a care plan, your only option is to pay $80 for this ring. She finally said okay we will give you your ring and you won't have to pay for it I'll be right back. She came back and had seriously pride that diamond out of my ring! The diamond had just fallen out, it was not pried open before. Now there's a prong stabbing me and I'm expecting more diamonds to fall out of this ring, that they don't even sell anymore. I am just sick from my experience and will also be writing a letter to corporate. Unless you want to spend a lot extra on their care plan, keep up with their 6-month checkups, and save that piece of paper they sign at those check ups, do not purchase jewelry from Fred Meyer Jewelers! I know I never will again. By the way, I am one of those people who never wrote reviews!"
"I love Fred Meyers Jewelers!! Sandra is my fave sales associate . She is knowledgeable and goes the extra mile for her customers. Her personality brings me back too! Miss the handiness of the mall, but got my first diamond earrjngs at this location before they moved to the mall. Now back where it all started!!"
