"I probably spent the better part of an hour trying to even find this place due to the location being completely wrong and am shocked no one has commented on it before. For reference, this place is located next to the Starbucks at: 32650 SR20, Oak Harbor, WA 98277 Once I arrived, despite there being multiple ongoing promotions that I now see, the associate who was working assured me what I bought was their best deal and overcharged me which is frustrating. Ultimately I'll probably choose to drive somewhere else on Whidbey once my purchase has been used due to the poor customer service and being severely overcharged."

"When I came to Desert Sun, the girl in the front, Kristin, was fantastic. She gave me a tour and allowed me to try the pod for a few minutes. It was so cozy I fell asleep! Everything was clean, nice and peaceful. She answered all my questions and we talked about packages and I didn’t feel any pressure. Will be back soon to purchase infrared light and tan package. I’m glad I found this place. I use the tanning for health and mental reasons and I’m glad this place is here to fill the void that Thrive left after their tanning bed broke."

"The young woman I worked with (Carly - I think) was extremely helpful. She explained the packages to me and helped me pick out a tanning lotion suited for my needs. She was professional and knowledgeable. She was courteous with customers coming in to tan, and acknowledged them when they arrived even though she was busy helping me. I appreciated her attention to detail. The salon is very clean, which is also important to me. I highly recommend Desert Sun in Oak Harbor to anyone looking for a place to tan. Also, they had some additional services I had not heard of since I last used a tanning salon, and I am excited to try them."

"This place is great! I’ve been using tanning beds in salons for about 14 years now. The staff and equipment was great. They got me signed up quick and made sure I had everything I need. They were not overly pushy about selling me products which actually makes me look forward to buying product from them when I do need it. Their prices are average compared to other salons, they are not over priced at all. They have multiple membership options, which I seem to never find. Great customer service and very informative :)"
