"Easy to get appointments, and they do a nice cut! I am not sure how it would be if you were very particular about exactly what you want, but it's always worked for me. And they always end with feel free to come back if you something fixed, trimmed, etc. It's not over $30 for a shampoo & cut, which surprised me, tbut only clearly I don't get it cut very often, and I bet the Avida places have really rocketed their prices, so not complaining."

"I have very curly hair so I called ahead of time and asked the person answering the phone, out of the 3 working, which ones specialized in cutting curly hair because mine is layered. I was told to request an appointment with Jennifer or Delores. I scheduled my appointment with Delores since she had the first available slot. Delores inspected my curly hair and than sat down face to face to make sure she understood exactly what I wanted done to my layered hair. I explained in detail the what and the whys. As she cut my hair, she thoroughly communicated with me the entire time and even explaining her process for edging my curly hair around the front of my face. When she was done, she asked me to inspect and let her know if I wanted more cut off and whether it felt good to me or not. It was just exactly what I wanted and now I know some new stylist terms for when I come in for a cut in the future. Excellent customer service. Thank you Delores."
