"Can't say enough about Northwave Sails, they have been at the heart of Hood River, OR since 1993 and the early days of windsurfing. Still made in the USA right in Hood River and if you ever need one repaired, they are there to help at a very reasonable cost. I've been riding Northwave for about 20 years and have upgraded through one whole quiver. I'm now getting into waves and Tim has turned me on, through their awesome demo program, to the Sinewave; a great snappy high aspect wave sail. So a 4.2 & 4.7 are in my future! If you are looking for a bomb-proof, well designed, customizable windsurfing sail; Gorge tested and Gorge proven, look no further than Northwave Sails!"

"Northwave Sails has been my go-to-windsurf sail place locally owned and operated. I have been introduced to Northwave over 12 years ago and gradually switched all my sails to Northwave and now even on the second generation. They make bullet proof and reliable sails, designed and made in the Gorge. I have met the owner Tim at a local windsurf location a few days first time. He was very pleasant to talk to. I had left a 4.2 sail for consignment a year ago and asked him if it was there. He said stop by the next day which I did. Lone behold the sail is still there and waiting for its next owner. My wife and I shopped for some quite comfortable face masks and ordered a few silk ones as they are hot items. Also met Sandra whom was very nice and helpful with our questions about the masks. For extra comfort, my wife and I picked up very comfortable hoodies for the cooler windier days. Northwave Sails is the place to checkout in Hood River if you are into windsurf sails and face masks. They have a great supply which won't leave you unsatisfied. Highly recommend."
