"I had the worst haircut in my memory last month. I had been to this salon about a year ago and got a decent haircut that was only $25.00. Since then I have been seeing someone else and was happy, however, she went on a three week vacation and I thought that in the mean time, I could get a decent haircut at The Cut. I wanted to have a trim that would get me a clasic bob haircut by my next haircut. We were clear that it could be a bit shorter in back and taper longer toward the front. One side of my hair was cut just like that. I think that the man cutting my hair forgot the style by the time that he cut the other side of my hair. It is in choppy layers that will take me months to grow. At the counter he told me that it was $45.00 and the owner corrected him and said it was $40.00. I had expected that the cost would have risen due to inflation, but not by that much."

"So im impulsively chopped off my hair one night and called The Cut the next day to see if they were able to get me in the same day for a cut, highlight, color - which I thought was impossible. They made it work, and the outcome was awesome. Monica dyed and highlighted my hair to perfection and did a great job of keeping my remaining length while adding in layers and shape! Not a low-cost experience buuuuut totally worth it for the quality of the outcome and the great customer service. Love it and will be back!"

"Just came here for the first time and it was wonderful!! Speedy service, friendly stylists, and very affordable compared to other salons of the same caliber, in my opinion. I called on a Tuesday morning inquiring about appointments (women’s long hair cut) and they told me I could come within the next hour, which I wasn’t expecting since I’m used to scheduling out appointments farther at other salons. When I got there, it was fairly busy with 2-3 folks waiting and all the hair stations occupied already (~6 stations). I noticed that the clientele skewed older but seems like a lot of them are regulars. While the salon is small, it’s very clean, modern, and well-kept inside. Everyone was very kind to me, they checked in on me frequently since they knew I was a first-timer. I got my hair cut by Lisa, a new stylist who just started that day (but has been a hair stylist for 30 years in the Seattle area). I showed her a reference photo and described the bangs/layers/shape I wanted. She did a great job, I love my haircut!! This place is run by a group of lovely Vietnamese ladies that are excellent at their craft. I highly recommend this place for those with Asian hair textures. Really happy to have found this salon, I will be returning for future cuts and hair coloring!"
