After my initial exam and x-rays, Dr. Dietrich really took the time to explain in detail what was happening with the problem areas of my teeth, answered all of my questions, and described all the options and potential outcomes. "I went to Dr. Dietrich's office for my first dental visit in 8 years (I know, I'm so ashamed) and it could not have gone better. The front desk is extremely well organized, and they offer communication via email/text rather than phone calls which is a huge deal for me. Bonnie had my insurance information ready to go when I got there, so there were no complications or surprises about cost (which turned out to be zero out of pocket thanks to my insurance and their thoroughness with getting it sorted ahead of time). Once at the office, the atmosphere was so cozy and friendly I could hardly believe I was at the dentist. My hygienist (Dominique) was as kind and knowledgeable as can be. She answered all my questions and offered me a eucalyptus-scented warm neck wrap and blanket while she took x-rays (no extra charge!). She gave me topical anesthetic to make the cleaning more comfortable, which I had never had before, and was very considerate of my comfort level throughout. Dr. Dietrich himself has the best bedside manner I've ever experienced from a doctor, and is clearly great at what he does. No one ever shamed me for avoiding the dentist for as long as I did or flossing poorly or whatever the complaints usually are. Of course there were a few minor concerns with my teeth, but they were very honest about the severity of each issue, which is very helpful if you're too busy/poor to prioritize them all A.S.A.P. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, more akin to the spa than the dentist. I'm already on the schedule for another visit, this time for a regular six month interval, and my husband will be going next month. Can't recommend this office enough."
