"Finally decided to check this place out now that it's been open for a while.. had some ribs and they were good , very moist and fall off the bone.. service was good as well.. desert was something different for me and a little dry.. I'll be back to ride the bull.."
"Positives- seated us without a reservation, Natalie(sp) was prompt, polite, and helped us with information about the menu. Negatives- Pounder burger was so dry it was hard to eat without a drink of water or drowning it in ketchup, flatbread was so overdone it was like a cracker, my wife’s burger, which she said slightly pink, was so raw in the center it was almost cold, the ‘fries’ were so thin they should be called chips, my wife’s Cowboy Lemonade calls for Bacardi Rum, but we basically paid $11 for a pink lemonade as there was no Rum. A 20% automatic surcharge is apparently to pay taxes and or fees, NOT a gratuity, our server told us she doesn’t get a wage but instead is paid a commission from the tickets, so you need to tip the servers ON TOP of the surcharge. So greed is playing hard here for the Denim Hospitality and Dan Thiessen. If they cared about their employees, they would pay a wage, not try to make the servers push items on the menu for a higher piece of the tab."
"Everything started out great, greeted in a timely matter got our drinks and appetizers fairly quickly and then, down hill from there. Waited for about 30 minutes after we got our appetizers and no food, waiter never checked on us the rest of the time we were there (not ounce) finally after 45 minutes got up and looked for our waitress and asked about our food, 10 minutes later she said it would be out soon that the kitchen was backed up, which I could see all the tickets on the rack. Didn’t get upset as I could see that they just seated to many people to quickly and flooded the floor. After an 1:30 minutes 3 out of the four dishes came out, ordered the chicken fried pork chops and as the photo shows that’s what you get for 22 bucks my daughter got the round here burger and she got a bun, meat, and I guess that’s cheese on the corner of the bun and a tiny portion of the grilled onions, guess that’s why they call it the round here cause that’s all you gonna get a round here. My wife got the burnt end sandwich and couldn’t take a photo because she didn’t even get her food till the end, 2 hours later. Will not be coming back for a while. Hopefully they’ll have the kinks out."
