"Went on a Thursday at 3:30. Goggle maps listed it as open. When I got there the door was lock. Nothing explaining why it was closed. Looked inside the window and there's still tables and chairs. But looks like it was stacked up for storage more than from closing the night before. Looks like it's been closed for awhile. Read a review from a few months ago where the owner responded to the review stating they were still open for the time I showed up. Would appreciate an update from owner if they read this. Google says you're open and you're still selling Groupon vouchers. That's why I visited. I bought one. Will get a refund for groupon but still open to going and revising review if it's still open."

"Wow! Such a nice, new place! The decor is swanky but classy. The owner Darlene & her brother Herb are warm and welcoming. I ordered red beans & rice and potato salad. It was awesome! I'm very picky about potato salad and this was SO good. They have a full bar with a cool & very pleasant bartender. They also have a DJ with a decent sound system. There are tables, cozy couches with tables and a pool table in the back. This is a great new find. Saturday, August 20th is Darlene's 50th birthday. Everyone's invited and they're serving up FREE FOOD! I know where I'm gonna be on the 20th. The lighting is upbeat and festive, plus there's a dance floor. I almost couldn't stop myself from jumping up and dancing to "Brick House," She's mighty mighty, lettin' it all hang out!"

"The fried pork ribs special was absolutely hands down the best pork I’ve ever eaten. It was a moment. The Mac and cheese and the bbq bean sides were AMAZING. Great vibe too with live and outdoor music sometimes, and the people were great. I love it!"

"There are many great things about this place but it starts with the owner and staff welcoming you like you have known them for years continuing with great drinks and topping off with the BEST chicken around. This place is my new favorite. Going back today to try the gumbo and catfish"

"This place is pretty chill doesn't get busy at all...I have a few complaints.. the bar is not well stocked at all with anything anyone wants to drink For God sakes they actually have wild Irish rose and Cisco as an option, With that being said the chicken is good The music is a good vibe ... I think this place could use some promotion and better drink options and better bartenders ( asked for a Moscow mule and she had no idea what it was) We wanted to come for New Year's Eve but when we went online and saw the prices we opted out. This place is one of the few places that black people can visit and feel comfortable in Everett, So I definitely will be here On the weekends"
