"The worst experience I've ever had with an auto shop. I own a 95 Geo Tracker, and in November, the turn signals stopped working. For some reason, the fuse would blow. Everything else worked – hazard lights, headlights, wipers – but the turn signals were malfunctioning. I brought it in, believing it was a wiring or electrical issue, to see if they could fix it. After a month and a half, Alex, whom I believe is the owner, fixed it. He replaced the entire multi-function switch and charged me $700. However, two days later, the turn signals stopped working again, blowing the fuse once more. I brought it back in, and he assured me he would fix it at no additional cost. Fast forward to March, with no communication or updates on my car. I went in to see what was going on and if he was even working on the car. He informed me that he was waiting for a part that should fix the issue, but it was currently unavailable. Due to my car's age, parts are hard to come by, and he mentioned it could take weeks or even months for this specific part to become available. I was very annoyed. If this were the case, I wished he had told me back in January. I would have taken the car back and sold it, rather than having it sit at the shop, hoping the part becomes available. So, I asked for my car back and a $700 refund since it seemed unlikely they could fix it. He agreed to reimburse me for the labor ($350) but insisted on charging me for the multi-function switch. I found that ridiculous. I don't understand why I have to pay for the multi-function switch since Alex misdiagnosed the problem. He probably never had to replace it in the first place. At the end of the day, I am not upset that he didn't fix the turn signals. I get it; it is an old car, and electrical issues can be complicated. My frustration lies in the lack of communication and professionalism. Over five months, my car was in the shop, and not once did he reach out to provide any sort of update. When I came into the shop, his staff also had no clue about the repair status. I don't usually write reviews, but because I did not get a full refund after this whole ordeal, I do not recommend taking your car to this shop"
"Incredible service, got my husband’s car in right away after a collision accident, checked it over, and gave a reasonable quote for the repair after showing a video of the car and explaining what they saw. I super appreciate their open communication and their quick service."
"Alix got me in same day when one of my cylinders blew in my car. Instead of charging me for checking everything on my car and why my engine light came on, he ran the code and tested the issue out without charge just to make sure it worked! I had other places just read the code and change what the code said, but it wasn't just what the code said, so other issues arose. I also came back to this shop for an oil change and also hazard issue from hitting concrete in the road. He got me in ASAP and got it done over the holiday weekend. I highly recommend this place to anyone! Alix would also keep me updated with texts and images of issues he found, and also helped me deal with my insurance claim as well. Absolutely 5/5!!!"
"Shady. It's had an oil leak since I bought it. You know when the starter went out when I was out with you? The mechanics said that the oil gaskets were loose, etc. It happened again. I brought it to these mechanics to fix the oil leak (oil was leaking on the starter). They "fixed it" for 800 dollars. The starter went out 6 months later for the same problem. I had to change the starter 3 times after (the first shop as that's where I had warranty). I went back there and told them "you guys never fixed the problem". They said "okay, sorry, we can see what we can do". Then, the timing belt magically breaks. They ruined my car, out of spite. They just didn't want to deal with it. Also, Alex, the owner, doesn't actually have blue eyes. He wears contacts. He acts nice, but he's a sociopath. These are the worst people imaginable. They don't have any soul. I brought my car to them to fix the hatch...some of the components were stuck. They said they would replace them....they only sprayed oil on it. They charged me for the parts. I talked to my friend later and he said that that they were just rusty parts sprayed with oil. They charged me over 200 dollars to just spray the parts wit oil"
"The real reason why I can review this shop so highly is simply because the owner can look at your car and usually know what's wrong with it. I've taken multiple cars into his shop and he gives honest answers, reasonable prices, and most importantly good work. It might not be the fanciest shop out there, but I'd be surprised if he couldn't figure out how to get your car back on the road."
