"THIS IS ABOUT PARATRANSIT: Please be cautious letting your child with disabilities ride paratransit TWICE now they have dropped my daughter off at the wrong location resulting in her having to call 911 for help. I have had nothing but problems and yes I was upset and called to talk to Dee about it and I just basically got told I would get a call back. The drivers are also unpredictable often taking over an hr sometimes to get her from one place to another and coming to pick her up over an hr early and then telling me when shes not ready that it will be a no show on our part its sad because this was the one thing that my daughter had that gave her a speck of independence and we can absolutely not count on them to do there job and make sure my daughter arrives safely from one place to another I would give zero stars if I could."
"Place is open, just drove by a few days ago. Will update once I stop by."
"This is an amazing service for the islanders and guests. For the island guests waiting in long lines for the ferry can be frustrating during peak periods but did you know if you are coming over for the day you can walk on at Mukilteo or Port Townsend and pick up an island transit coach to practically anywhere on the island? Oh yea, did you know it is free? The downside to any big operation on an island (restaurants, shops and transportation) is getting and keeping staff. You will notice I did not say quality staff! However the drivers I have experienced are pleasant and knowledgeable about Island happenings. I and others, feel more awareness of the service could increase ridership. Placing notices at the ferry terminals and social media could definitely help spread the word for this amazing service. Give it a try and stop waiting in line for the ferry!"
