"Great ferry to Whidbey. Be sure to let them know age and if disability for a small discount. Recommend getting reservation online and if you do that, you must be in line 30 min prior to your reservation departure scheduled. Takes approximately 30 min to cross. The cashier and the gentleman loading the vehicles were great. We did drive on, drove off."
"One of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had was riding the ferry. The whole process is extremely interesting. The staff is very friendly and professional. I met a lot of great people and it was a quick ride. I was shocked at how inexpensive it is. Definitely recommend this trip if nothing, but for the scenic views."
"Absolutely amazing experience!! Be warned though… they cancel crossings without warning! We went across on the 4:15pm planning to explore the south island, and return on the 9, but we had to immediately get back in line for standby.. they cancelled all the ferries past 6pm!! We got to ride the ferry back and forth and see some sea lions though, so it was worthwhile for the kids."
"Was Looking forward to this ride. Very nice area. Recommend reserving a spot before had. I didn't but fortunately there was space available during the time I wanted to go. Waited about 50 min to board. It was a nice ride and they have food!"
"Very nice ride on very nice ferry. New seat covers in seating areas and clean bathrooms. Very pleasurable experience but you will need to make a reservation weeks in advance to ensure passage. Single vehicle was $16 plus $4 for each adult excluding the driver."
