Valvoline Instant Oil Change

"This was our first time at this location (just moved to the Couve area). The staff here were very kind & Extremely Busy, this day!!! Both bays were open & a bit short staffed (as it looked), we were back about 5 vehicles besides the ones already being serviced in the 2 bays. When we entered the drive area, we were greeted & told they were very busy & our wait time may be an Hour! We were ok with that, because we had this day planned to get this done before heading out this week for a special wedding about a 4½ hour drive away!! So, the wait was fine. I appreciated the heads up & they were pretty spot on with their estimation of an hour! Once in the bay, they all went through each step of their process & we're taking the time to do each individual step/process to make sure each of their customers (us included) were taken care of as they should be! Although, I had mentioned to the person **(We had Just had the Factory Replace our engine Brand New from top to bottom, only 6,000 miles ago)** he repeated to me what I had let them know, he was a bit too busy, entering everything into the computer & relaying the information to the team of employees working on our vehicle, but None of them took into account what I had mentioned & still tried to let me know that Soon because of the Mileage on the Vehicle & NOT on my New Engine & All Components within..I would need to Replace All belts at 100,000 miles & was Recommended to get it done...I Reminded him that We Only Have 6,000 miles on the Brand New Engine ..it didn't seem to phase him? Except, that the Cost from the factory was Almost $23,000 for the new engine & covered by the factory warranty! One thing to watch out for at Any of the quick type of oil change/lube places...Always trying to sell the other services & Most Importantly, their Sticker to come back for an oil change in 3,000 miles. Now...we Paid for & Hopefully Received their Full Synthetic Oil!!! You Only have to change Full Synthetic oil at 5,000-7,500 Miles & Some even say Up To 10,000! Watch for this at Any Place you go!! To be honest, they were So Busy that I bet it is just a habit to print off the first one! Anyway, this visit was good! They were or seemed to be consciences of the job they were to do & kept on task. I would be doing all on my own, but as I am getting older, my body doesn't want to work how it did, even 5 years ago. Thank you to the staff here! Very good experience!"

"I had the best experience with my oil change today!! The team was extraordinary, especially the service writer and lady tech. I wish that I knew name to give her special acknowledgement. She helped me reset the oil service panel when we didn't know how to do it. She searched online and helped me reset it. She went the extra mile when most young people wouldn't! Customer service is what we need to back to! Please, if Valvoline can reward her and the service writer, please do!!!"

"This place left handprints all over my car during my oil change. Replaced a tail light and didn't even put the carpet back around my trunk. Oh, and when I talked to the manager sent the pictures he said, "Bring it back in, and I'll wipe them off". Here, 20% off your next service. Excuse me, really, I won't be coming back!! I miss Oil Can Henry's!! Where is the great customer service?"

"Long wait time for no service. I sat behind a single vehicle for an hour and was not notified of any wait time. Someone walked up to ask what service I would like, and that was it. If I had known the vehicle in front of me was going to take a while, I would not have wasted my time. Instead, I idle in my car because informing a customer of what their wait time is going to be is bad for business, I guess. Edit: Auto response for my 1 star review does nothing to address the issue that I was not given an estimated wait time. Wait times can fluctuate, yes, but when you are working on the vehicle, you have a general idea of how long it will take. Notify the person waiting what their wait might be like."
