The Top of the Town Lounge

"There is just 1 slight downfall I can think of and it was that the food took a little while to come out and the appetizer came at the same time as the main course. I imagine that's b/c it is a small establishment, maybe only 1 cook which leaves me with a but...and a big BUT...everything else was absolutely incredible! Probably the best cocktails I've had, as they certainly do NOT skimp on the alcohol and the food was very tasty! This is my new go-to place. I was VERY pleased! Thank you for reading and thanks to the owners of "The Top of the Town "."

"I am not from the area, but happened to be for a few days back in August. My husband and I stopped in on a Friday afternoon right at open. We ended up sitting at the bar, staying for a while, and having several drinks from their menu. The owner/bartender was a very personable guy, and had great liquor recommendations. I am a big fan of small cocktail bars, and bartenders who care about their craft, so this place was a big win. I did not try the food on the menu, but if I were a local I definitely would! (ALSO: Where I am from, we do not have such a heavy liquor tax, so I respect this bar for having as big of a selection as they do, and for having very reasonable prices!)"

"This dark, cozy little cocktail bar is my favorite spot on island. Jeff and Dana are consummate hosts and the drinks are uniformly outstanding. I always go after dinner so I've never tried the food (need to remedy that one of these days) but what I see coming out of the kitchen looks good. Sitting at the bar with my brother and hearing Jeff's insights on spirits and liqueurs he's picked up over the years is a major highlight of every visit. He was even generous enough to make me a drink based off a recipe I had on my phone, and of course it was fantastic. Wish I were there now!"

"This place is truly amazing! My partner and I got off the last ferry of the night at 9:30pm for a romantic weekend getaway, and I was starving and so worried we wouldn’t find a place to eat because our ferry was late. They were suppose to close at 10pm so I was ready for them to say their kitchen was closed, but they were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at home! There happened to be a birthday party there at the same time and their fun loving energy permeated throughout the whole lounge, being wholly welcomed by the staff. They ended up letting us stay until after 11:30pm, serving us fine crafted cocktails and delicious food. I just couldn’t believe how kind and thoughtful they were — it truly made Friday Harbor seem like the place to be. Thank you so much for your top notch service and hospitality! We can’t wait to come back. :)"
