"Great atmosphere, food was good, bar tenders were very friendly. The only issue I have is that the while ordering I was asked if I wanted to add Carne Asada to my tachos which is fine what I didnt like was the absence of confirmation regarding the 18$ upcharge for doing so. I can 100% get behind tip based increases regarding final price of the tab however not informing a customer of an 18$ up charge I think is a bad practice regardless of it being on the menu. You need to make sure the customer is aware of the charge. Edit* My apologies I thought it was an 18 dollar additional charge not that it brought the price of the dish to $18. I will adjust my review because that was the only issue I had, other than that I love the place!"

"If you want a friendly atmosphere with great service and drinks, Home Plate Pub is your place. The BLT with Avacado is a great choice, as is the house made Pizza. It's the kind of place that you can go alone and the regular guests are welcoming. It's our go to place for lunch and drinks. Hard working staff and local owner."

"Home plate is my favorite small bar here in Marysville! Shyann and Sarah are definitely a dangerous duo with their awesome attitudes, quick customer service, and amazing smiles. The drinks and food are always brought out delicious and in a timely manner. I love bringing my friends from out of town when we want something a little more intimate and low key. I have loved all my years here with their service and look forward to many more to come!"

Recommended by a local/coworker, we stopped in after work and had tacos, mushroom Swiss burger WITH BACON, and beer- that’s right, there mushroom Swiss burger has bacon… game changer straight up!! The atmosphere was chill, the food was great and fast, and Shawn was super friendly even though he appeared to be the only one working. We’re from out of town, but will definitely be back next time we’re in town!! Thanks for a great time!!"
