"My husband and I actually love this place and stop in every time we are in town. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they allow dogs. Don't get me wrong, dogs are great. Service animals are an understandable and wonderful thing. I have allergies to dogs, though, and it makes it difficult to relax and enjoy great beer and company. The beer is terrific and why we keep stopping in."

"Usually, it can't be expected that a brewery does more than one style of beer well, or has more than a couple of outstanding beers. Port Townsend Brewing is the exception. Their scotch ale was outstanding. The stout might have been better. And two of the IPAs I tried were phenomenal. Add that there is a variety of places to sit and enjoy a pint, with your dog, one other person, or a group, and it seems unfair that the rating limit is only five stars."

"Love the beer and the atmosphere! Solid craft beers, especially their hoppy IPAs. You can hang with the locals after work or over lunch but I really enjoy hitting the beer garden during the slow hours to grab some quiet time with a brew when the rare PNW sun is shining!"
