Located at 2264 Marine Drive, this establishment was opened in June of 2014 by the Patterson family. With a background in owning convenience stores, the Pattersons were inspired to venture into the craft beer industry after a visit to Bend, Oregon. The idea of combining a convenience store and laundromat with a craft beer concept was born, leading to the creation of Astoria Growler Guys.
Since its opening, Astoria Growler Guys has grown and expanded, with plans for a bigger outdoor area in the summer of 2022. This expansion will include two food carts, games, and dog-friendly spaces for customers to enjoy. The institution has become a popular destination for craft beer enthusiasts on the Oregon coast, offering a wide selection of fresh and delicious craft beers.
