"After visiting nearby Marine Life Center with my six-year-old daughter, we found a warm place to hang out in Ponderosa. Here’s our experience. 1) Food: They have a food menu with happy hour deals. Stopping in on a late afternoon, we ordered the chips and salsa and the cheese platter for snacks. My daughter loved them both. I was a fan of the cheese with the cherry jam. 2) Drinks: I was happy to see cider on their beer list. I ordered an Oregon cider that wasn’t too sweet. 3) Service: It was impeccable. It feels like a family and every customer is treated with kindness. Even dogs are welcome! 4) Space: It’s a beautiful space with a parking lot and loft seating. Outlets were near the tables so I could charge my phone as I ate."

"This review is long overdue. Ponderosa is one of our favorite spots to grab a delicious beer or cider in a welcoming and pup friendly environment. The atmosphere is inviting and warm with indoor and outdoor seating options. The service, recommendations and conversation are excellent! Jessie always has such a fun and reliable tap list as well as a fridge full of amazing drink options to take home. The events have been nothing short of delightful. I have enjoyed the makers markets and pop ups Our current favorite was the beer and cider pairing with Saltadena cream puffs. *chefs kiss* We recently had the opportunity to work with Jessie on hosting a private event during our wedding weekend. She made the process stress free and enjoyable. I highly recommend it to anyone considering! It was the perfect end of wedding weekend vibe and experience for us and our guests."

Come for the delicious beer, wine, cider + selection of books and stay for the friendly and welcoming people! Got the flight with a lovely souvenir — a bookmark! To top it all off, it’s dog friendly!! A great place to sit and relax with the not-so-young pup :)"
