I took it to 3 cell phone stores in Eugene and they all told me there was nothing they could do and made a diagnosis not possible without looking inside the phone. I asked around and a friend who lived in Portland recommended AirLink (the Sandy location). We called and Minh promptly returned our call and let us know he would meet us on a Saturday for us to drop off the phone. He gave us a realistic timeline and kept us updated along the way. He pulled apart the phone and got it to where he was able to pull my photos and data, which was all I cared about. I needed it within a week because I had to return the phone to Verizon as part of my trade in. Minh was incredibly professional, was realistic and fair about pricing and timeframe, and was able to save my precious memories from being lost forever. I am so incredibly grateful for the service and will happily drive two hours each way to go to Minh for phone repairs or data recovery in the future. Thank you!!!"

Unfortunately, the device turned out to be beyond repair, but even though I know they spent time and effort on it, they didn't charge me anything. And to boot, they suggested a place (which was not this store) to get a replacement on the cheap. I don't know what to call that other than honesty.
