"Great sushi spot in Ballard. Not too pricey. Only complaint - the “real wasabi” is barely any different! Bring out a root and grate it you want to advertise it! But otherwise it was stellar and so 4.75/5! What a giant sushi / sashimi platter for two!"

"Fun lunch spot in the heart of Ballard Avenue. Dropped in during the Sunday farmer's market and was rewarded with prompt and friendly service and surprisingly good value. Highly recommend the lunchtime Bento box specials. Kid-friendly too."

"It’s always interesting to try sushi in the Pacific Northwest because you just never know as I’ve had sushi from LA and the original fish market, Tsukiji in Tokyo. This place was good we had a variety of dishes focusing on nigiri (sushi on rice). We also ordered the Rumi Roll, it was good. The one thing I noticed though was the sushi rice was not room temperature but rather cold and it didn’t have that subtle sweetness. Don’t know if it was because we had it for lunch time vs dinner but it was a little disappointing. The sushi and rice proportion was spot on. We also ordered the fatty sushi’s like the toros, salmon, and yellow tail ones. The spicy tuna crispy rice was good also, interesting that they used clarified butter for the crispy rice part."

"Always wanted to try this place and finally decided to give it a try. The place itself is pretty cute, I like their unique style and the service was great. The Spicy Bomb Roll was not spicy but very tasty! The rest items we had were ok. The Gyoza was way too salty for us."
