"Went there for dinner and a beer after the Olympia afternoon Contra Dance, danced more than I thought possible for me. I've learned that my stamina is something that I have to deal with, as I'm almost 80 now. Learned to pace myself, so that I can dance longer!"

"If you haven’t been to the Parkway, it is an institution in Tacoma. Every Monday afternoon they begin the ritual of transforming a tasty beer into something magical and unique through the use of a device called a Randall. The atmosphere is always fun and the staff is always friendly. They have a vast selection of beers that range from cask conditioned bitters to crisp pilsners (and a few wines and ciders available too). And if you get hungry? The grub has classic pub food that is highly satisfying."

"Our waitress Sue made this a very enjoyable & welcoming place to bring a large group. They have 1 dart board, a shuffle board, 1 pool table, & a few video games, which we all played and had fun. A Game for everyone!! Sue was very helpful and accommodating to personal requests on food & helpful drink suggestions on different Beers. Although The food was ok , and they only served beer & wine. No hard liquor in which was a down side for our group who wanted hard alcohol drinks. But overall I give 5* and 5*+ to Sue. Thank you Sue"

"This was a fun stop, serving beer to this neighborhood since 1935. they have a great tap beer selection (beer wine only), a what looks like a thousand old tap handles spread throughout the ceiling area. I had the bacon cheeseburger and a cup of bean soup, both were delicious. Friendly conversation was had with some of the regulars, will stop back again"
