"Just went to Ivar's in Lakewood and this is what I received. I got two lobster po boys,cost me 27.98 and they barely had anything on them. My total order cost 51.42 with a 4.28 tip added for the drive thru. Not worth it... Giant rip off...I feel like I have been robbed."
"Best fried fish sandwich I have found. Not too much breading and fresh tasting fish on a bun that holds together when eating. Prices may seem high until you count the always included french fries. You can substitute onion rings for fries (probably other sides as well). Clam chowder is also very tasty and hearty. They offer a family size combo, but someone (us, them???) messed up when ordering and we wound up paying extra and missing an item or two. Dine in is very casual, but clean and tidy. Drive through is pretty quick. I check my bag after the one mess up, and no errors. Staff seems friendly for a drive through place."
"Meh. I recently had Ivar's chowder in the SEATAC Delta lounge... Delicious. So, I thought I'd stop for dinner during a business trip in the Seattle area. Complete let down. I tried their seafood combo. Very small portion. Soggy fries. Clam strips mostly consisted of a large lump of batter. Tiny shrimp and a small piece of fish. Overpriced. Also ordered a bowl of chowder... it was better at the airport. Too thin (runny) and too salty; very few claims. Disappointed, dissatisfied, and won't be back."
