"We have been a couple of times but OMG the food was amazing. A real upgrade. Scallop Crudo was tops. Muscles amazing. Unreal raviolis with a whole shrimp inside and mixed seafood outside. Perfect gnocchi and on and on. We will be back."
"I come to Seattle for work a lot, and the highlight of my trip is always dinner at Carrello. There’s a lovely garden in the back if you decide to eat on the patio, and the inside has a lovely cozy feel as well. All the little touches in the restaurant are so well done down to the handmade plates. I’ve never had the same thing twice since the menu is seasonal but instead of being sad about not being able to order my favorite thing, this place is so reliable I just get excited I’m going to have a new and exciting treat. Everything is made in house to order and it couldn’t be fresher or more delicious."
"We went for our anniversary. It was all very tasty. We did the tasting menu, and decided to go for the additional steak, which was too much to eat. The appetizer course was probably enough food for the two of us. I loved the chicory salad and the barata with bread. The pumpkin soup came out in this tiny little bowl for a taster and it was great too. We were both pleasantly surprised with the execution of the squash. It was perfection. The gnocchi ragout was perfectly seasoned. I'd order it again if I was going ala carte. I liked the creme dessert with berries. It has a nice balance of texture. The canolli had a nice orange zest that made it fruity, which worked for me but my chocolate interested partner said not enough chocolate if that's what you're looking for. We were there to do a tasting menu so we arrived at 6:30 and left around 10:00 for the five courses. With the courses moving pretty quickly. Atmosphere is fancy. It's a good setting for a date night. And price reflects that. I wouldn't bring kids. There's a parking lot not far away but street parking is hard to get so come early and prepared to walk. The staff were so friendly and kind about everything. They paid close attention to allergies and preferences."
"Delicious! We came for a birthday dinner. Decided to order off the menu instead of getting the tasting menu. Tasting menu is 5 courses and we thought it might be too much food for us. The burrata was delicious along with the sourdough. We started getting full midway through our entree so the serving sizes are pretty good in my opinion. We were so full that we decided to skip dessert. Servers were very nice and welcoming. Outside back patio ambiance was very calm and relaxing. Would come here again!"
