"Wow. What a disappointment. From the moment we walked in til the moment we left. We were barely acknowledged. Definitely not greeted. We were lead upstairs to a corner "booth" with more tape on the bench seat than actual upholstery. Menus were dropped on the table and the server disappeared. Then a group of 4 boisterous women sat down behind us. From that point we could not hear ourselves think. We placed orders for a one drink, 1 ,Caesar and 2 burgers. I asked if the fries were fresh or frozen, was told they came in a large bag. Was never given an actual answer to the question. I opted to substitute a salad for the fries. I was not told there would be an up charge for substituting a salad. I asked for dressing on the side. My plate shows up with a fully dressed salad, and a undercooked burger. It was not the worst place I have eaten but it has been a long time since a dining establishment and its staff just did not seem to care. The drink was okay but was underpoured and completely forgettable. No plans to go back here again. And 2 burgers, 1 salad and 1 drink was more than 3 full entrees and 2 salads from Machiavelli. Definitely overcharged for what we got."
"A wonderful place to chill and get wonderful food. The Fish Tacos were great. The balsamic glaze on the Roasted Brussel Sprouts is like liquid gold. Highly recommend."
"Our foursome popped in on a Saturday evening and got seated right away in the actual loft. They do take reservations, and we didn't have one, but that could be a good idea on a busy day. We ordered up so tasty drinks, and though appetizers were tempting, we went right to the mains. Including some Loft Burgers, Sockeye Salmon, and the Spaghetti Carbonara. Everyone enjoyed their choice! I thought the flavor balance on the Carbonara was exceptional. I snagged some of the Truffle Fries from one of the burgers, and dude, those are addictively good. Service was prompt and friendly, plus we were impressed how quick food came out. Fun place, great food, and good time. We'll be back."
"I found this place on a whim when my husband and I wanted to have dinner on the North side after work (we live in South Seattle and work up north). I didn't know I would need a reservation, but we managed to get some seats at the bar; a couple happened to be leaving moments after I arrived. I could tell the bartender was well-seasoned, and knew I could order a Tom Collins without being questioned. My husband ordered a virgin drink 'reminiscent of a Rum cocktail', and received a very nice, minty green drink in a Martini glass. The Bartender was very social, funny, and told us about all the nice details of the food being made in-house. All the food was amazing. He got excited when we ordered 2 desserts! We would definitely love to come back."
