Reviews
"First time at this resturant, I only chose it after another negative review on another resturant directed me to go to this "authentic Italian" resturante. Absolutely delicious, I had the bucatini with Meatballs, and not only was it the true Italian portion size but it was very tasty. The place continued to fill up after work hours, and the bartender Sara was excellent. Great Service, food and I very much loved listening to Sinatra. Thank you!"
"I feel for the hype and regret it. If you’re anything like me and reading reviews I hope you see this one to save yourself. I’ve driven by here so many time and it’s always crowded so I had to stop and try it out. I got a chicken Parmesan grinder to go which sounded like a good first try as it’s a staple. The issue is they use such cheap foil all the toppings stuck and it rips apart so it leaves your sandwich dry. Also, what about the end of the loaf of bread it’s not even a sandwich it’s more of a stuffed bread. Really dry and I regret spending $20+ on this"
"PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE YOU TRY THIS RESTAURANT. We were so excited to go to Bucatini, the reviews looked so good, but our experience wasn’t all that good. The staff is really friendly and the atmosphere looks like a good old neighborhood restaurant and we were so excited. At the beginning they brought some bread for our table which was cold and it just wasn’t pleasant, so we asked if they could warm it up and they said no. For appetizers we got calamari and it was not what we were expecting . It was a calamari soup and the taste of the fish was so strong, and it just didn’t taste good. For the main course we had the steak sandwich, the chicken parmigiana sandwich, the Pappardelle Bolognese, and the Pollo melanzana. Let me start with this. THE PORTIONS ARE HUGE, and not in a good way. There is just no way one person can finish that food. We were making a joke that they can give our leftovers to the next table and they wouldn’t notice anyone has touched this. Understandingly the quality of the food comes down when the portion goes up. The food was not tasty, and the quality was soo bad that we all had stomach issues afterwards and threw away the food. This was very disappointing, but I hope someone reads this and the same experience doesn’t happen for other people."
"We got here at 11am on a Saturday and were seated right away. The food was tasty and the portion sizes were MASSIVE. I ordered a seafood squid ink pasta despite it being one of the more expensive items, but honestly it was a great value because it could feed me for 3-4 meals. The server was very kind and friendly. We're definitely planning on going back!"
"Had a bit of wait on a Saturday evening. The tables are pretty close to each other. Got a wine bottle and garlic bread to start Liz bread was nice and crispy. For the mains we got the anestino della casa, it was great and had asked it to be a bit spicy and they made it per request. Got the squash pasta from the specials, it was ok nor something would recommend. Tiramisu to close us off was great. Chocolate cake was pretty dense and also felt it to be a bit dry"
