Doc's Marina Grill in Port Townsend

"Food was actually more like 4.5 stars and service was actually more like 3.5 stars. They were packed, so that might be why service was so slow. But it took forever to get a bottle of wine, which we had almost finished by the time our soup and salad arrived. The menu is pretty extensive. The food was good but not the best I've ever had. Point Hudson Marina and RV Park is really neat though!"

"This place is our go-to for food in Port Townsend. We love the food and have never had a bad meal here. The food is high quality at a reasonable price. Their clam chowder is amazing! We get at least a cup of it every time we go. Their sauce is all home made and really shows the level of care they put into the food. The only complaint I've ever had was on some busy days the service suffered a bit. The food took a long time to come out, which is understandable given the care they clearly put into the food."

"Doc's was recommended by a store owner as the best place to eat in town. The food was good, and the staff was friendly. Prices were slightly above average, comparing hamburger cost here to other places (up to $18 for a burger), with some more fancy foods. I had rock fish tacos with clam chowder. The chowder was very good, and the tacos were about what I expected. We ate outside. There was no shade, although I enjoy being in the sun. The patio had a view of the water, the marina, and the town. Unfortunately, there was a gravel parking lot in front of the view, but it was still good outdoor dining, and there was no real in-and-out traffic while we were there. I would eat here again, and I would recommend it for people who are looking for a nice place to eat with higher end fare. If I was looking for a burger, I would probably go somewhere else due to price."
