Pho Sai Gon

"I got the lemongrass tofu with vermicelli and it was totally inedible. The tofu was so covered with chilis that even after rinsing them off they still burned my mouth and lips. Since I dumped all of it in a bowl when I got home, the spice was coating everything, it was not salvageable. Not a hint of lemongrass, just CHILI. It is deranged to give someone food this spicy without labeling it as spicy. They didn't ask what spice level I wanted! You don't just assume folks want a 10! Experiences like this make me regret tipping on food I haven't tasted yet and the biggest bummer is driving 30 mins home so obviously I'm not going to go back to the cart to complain."

"First time trying Pho Sai Gon at the 6th Street Food Cart Pod. I've been missing their pho since they closed the brick and mortar, and holy frick it hits. 10/10 BBQ Pork, fried rolls, and shrimp vermicelli noodle bowl Rare Flank and Meatballs Pho I got it to-go, and heated up the broth on my stove at home, then poured it on the noodles and raw beef flank. I have eaten pho up and down the west coast, and I'd rank their pho pretty high up there among the best. Definitely matches a lot of my favorite spots in Portland. Really glad they opened the food truck."

"The food is good but what I really like is the bubble tea! Soooo....good!! Comes with tapioca and jelly if you want and in this picture I got a watermelon!!! Sooo...good as always. I've had their avocado and mango one as well. They were good as well. So if you are in the dalles Oregon area this is a must go!!"

"This place is amazeballs! I've had Pho in many locations throughout the US and this Pho is easily in the top 5. I had the C5, which has well done beef flank in it -- and lots of it! The broth is delicious and I'd be happy if they'd let me fill a large travel mug so I could drink it like coffee. The fried egg rolls were a little cool in the middle but still tasty and the fresh spring rolls were yummy as well. I can never soak up enough of the orange fish sauce, so the ends of the rolls serve as cups so I can fill them up for that last bite. And finally, the service was quick and friendly. This is a must-visit restaurant when visiting The Dalles."

"We walked into a beautiful almost elegant dining room. Very surprising to find such a restaurant in the Dalles. Amazing menu with many pages of choices . We all ordered different soups. Huge bowls of steaming delicate flavors. Then onto main course for me is Chicken Lo mein. Absolutely fantastic. Not only beautiful to look at but the fresh ingredients were the best. All the food was good including a full bar . The service was lacking . Not a full house but another server was needed. Good place to order out too. Prices were very good for the large portions."
