"I was hoping not to have to write this but I feel it important for people to know my experiences with not just this location but this and another in Portland. I bought my vehicle 4 years ago with Les Schwab tires. So when one of them failed about 3 years ago, I took it to them to fix but they told me I needed all 4 new tires. I knew there was tread left but didn’t know how long the tires had been, so I was fine with upgrading to a nice pair of all weather continental tires costing $1400 installed. Fast forward 14 month after driving the tires and rotating them every oil change, I had one of the side walls blow out (didn’t run over anything) and had it towed to my new local Les Schwab. Even though they were only 14 months old they gave me the same story that I needed to replace all of them. Another $1000 The tires should still be mostly new with only about 10k on them. No warranty help. Since I needed my car fast I had no choice but get new tires. They also told me I needed new back shocks (but my mechanic confirmed that to not be the case at all)"
"I had a nail in my driver rear and they were super nice to get it fixed in a timely manner. They gave me a courtesy call for when my car was ready. They knew I was picking the car up later but still called I appreciated."
"I hit a huge pothole and not only flattened my tires but damaged my wheels. As someone that's not particularly good at dealing with these types of situations, they made it so much less stressful. They were very open and communicative about every step of the process and didn't make any decisions without my saying so. I went through my insurance for it and just in the process of doing it that way, I had my car there for over a week. So I talked to probably everyone that worked there at some point but every single one was so patient and respectful. They looked at more than the wheels in the process and ended up getting more done. But let me tell you when I got my car back, it's like driving a new car! I had noticed for a while my car was getting loud but it's a smooth and quiet ride now! With everything they did to it, it cost me about four grand which is more than I'd like to pay for anything, but they did a lot of work to it and I'm confident my car is much safer to drive now."
"Unfortunately, I do believe this is probably the worst of the Les Schwab stores in the Vancouver area. They've been consistently inconsistent with their estimates of both wait time and service time, multiple times had to return to fix what I just paid to have fixed, and now they just did half the services we requested be addressed when we made our appointment. I truly wish this wasn't the case, especially due to the proximity of this store location to my home. I've always liked Les Schwab as a company, so it looks like I'm going to be traveling a bit further for our services going forward."
"Went in for flat repair, said tire was defective so all tires had to be replaced, then 2, would not honor their warranty and stand behind defective tire. Horrible customer service, manager called police when I demanded my car back to go somewhere else, unbelievable. Just wanted less schwab to fix their defective tire, instead it was up sell hell I wasn't prepared for. We overpay for Les Schwab tires to avoid problems, thousands spent at Les Schwab, no more. Edit: thank you St John's Tire Shop! Mom and Pop stores still understand customers service, no police called. Fast, efficient, friendly and affordable. Edit2: to owner reply. I rejected your offers, you didn't agree to mine, simple negotiations. I wanted my car returned as I had come in, to go to a different shop. However, a repair was started and stopped on the wheel so you guys refused to fix and install. That's about when the manager called the police from the phone that doesn't work, the 1st time. Bottom line, don't steal customer cars and threaten a night in jail. Don't waste police resources, be more customer oriented."
