"This is a great place to shop in ocean shores! It’s kind of pricey but everything is really nice quality. The soaps are really nice, too. The charcoal and carrot face soap have lasted me months and really work! My only negative comment on this place is someone will follow you around the entire store- nonchalantly but it was also kind of pressing. I’ve been here twice and when I pick anything up, they will take it to the register immediately. I’m guessing they must get a lot of shop lifters. When I went up stairs, people who worked there seemed to follow me upstairs to find some kind of work to do but I definitely felt watched both times. All of the stuff upstairs are clothes so I find it hard to steal anything but you never know I guess! I would have taken my time more if I didn’t feel eyes on me the entire time. I will go back but it kind of makes me nervous knowing I can’t relax."

"This is a cute, beautifully designed soap and gift shop in Ocean Shores! There must have been over fifty varieties of soap and cute leather bags and clothing. Stop in and smell all the bars and support a local business. It’s right on the main strip near the shell and round about."

"My family and I booked an Oceanview Condo as a last-minute Father's Day getaway. This was our first vacation since Covid kinda shut down the country and it did not disappoint! During our vacation, we visited local souvenir and specialty shops along with an arcade with ice cream, video games, bumper cars and Go Karts. Our favorite shop was Soap Works, which specialize in all natural bath soaps and accessories along with hand made clothing and shoes. The fabric and quality of the clothing and shoes are unbelievable, and are priced accordingly. For handmade leather loafers, I paid a similar price as I would at Aldo just for a price comparison. The overall satisfaction and experience of our shopping trip was well worth the cost. They do offer military discounts and the Sales Manager Donna made us feel right at home. This is now one of my favorite local shops in the world and all-in-all, I would definitely recommend visiting this store if you are in the area."

"Such a cute shop! The soaps smell incredible as soon as you walk in. I don’t typically buy bar soap, but these scents, colors and artisan look beats a pump bottle any day. They had so many other beautiful items as well - purses, wallets, clothes for all genders and ages, and the most gorgeous jewelry. The staff was super friendly and immediately gave us a summary of the layout of their store. Easily my favorite little shop we visited this weekend."

"The store itself is housed in a historic ocean shores building I was told and it’s neat that they restored it for the community. They make handcrafted soaps locally with every scent under the sun. They also have a ton of Havaianas so if you forgot your flip flops for the beach this is your place!"
