"Very good stop. We got several license plates and a neat wall hanging. We almost didn't go because of all of the negative reviews with the previous shop owner but it looks like it's run by different people now who were super friendly. It's a bit pricey but neat stuff"
"Huge variety nicely displayed. Lots & lots of nostalgic stuff, & quite a bit of rocks & semiprecious gemstones. Only one level was open. It was still a large store full of inventory."
"The worst customer service! Showed up a little after 10am since their website stated they opened at 10am. The door was open and as soon as we entered an employee (owner maybe?) came up to us and said "I know the website says we open at 10am, but we actually open at 11." You're there and the door was open. Would it be that terrible to let us look around?! Probably might have been your only sale today! Needless to say we will not be patronizing your establishment! Oh, and how about fixing your website to reflect your actual business hours! As a web designer, I know it's not that difficult or time consuming!"
"This store is my favorite. The gal who runs the store is on it because she has to be. Bad decisions made by people have forced her to be hyper aware of every movement that takes place in the shop. The people who have their goods in that store and that are paying for booth space rely on her to protect their antiques. She can't leave the store unattended and let suspicious activity go by the way side. If you don't believe me watch the video from an outside camera when I guy takes a meat clever to the door of the shop to break in and steals items from the store and destroyed part of the shop, glass. This woman is protecting those who are trying to sell their antiques! The stores antiques don't belong to her, she's the shop owner. So I say cut her a break, you have no idea what she has encountered and put up with and watched happened to the store. So if she comes to talk to you don't give her the cold shoulder be open, be kind, that goes a long ways. She does have signs posted about backpacks. Maybe go talk to her and if you're worried about your passport and tablet take them out of your bag....duh. If you just go have a conversation about keeping your bag with you she may surprise you by coming up with a solution that makes you and her comfortable. Again it's not her fault that people have no integrity and do bad things. How is she suppose to know the intentions of every patron. I think she is great and I would be willing to sell my things in her shop because I know she is a good guard, she works hard, she is upstanding, honest and will communicate. Take time to realize you're just going in to shop, you aren't being asked to be the new guard of the store. You're needing to respect what is posted and remember 1 bad apple spoils the bunch, you need to be mad at the people who made really bad choices making all of us shoppers look suspicious too."
