"Great store! They had a lot of cool and unique items, from vintage clothes to comic books. We bought an old medical textbook from the early 20th century and they were kind enough to ship it for us (since we live in NY). Thank you to Thrift Star for such a great experience!"

"Real cool shop with both fun and practical stuff, the shopkeepers have good taste. Very colorful and a touch quirky and also great prices. The building itself is a good photo op too! If I were a teenager visiting from a dark and rainy rural town to go shopping for the school dance, I would visit Thrift Star while my friend went to dinner as a first date with her vampire boyfriend."

A smaller thrift shop, but had some unique items, many reasonably priced… One item in particular was beyond our budget, so Otto was so kind to call the owner, who made a slight reduction for us, very accommodating and friendly! Well recommended! Otto was awesome at the front counter….remember, Nelson, BC… inside joke…"
