"Always a great experience at Hals! My 5 year old son and I had lunch together. He had a hot dog and I had the avocado chicken burger with bacon. So yummy!"
"First time trying this place, had the 12th man burger that was the special of the day, 2 big patties, bacon, swiss, american, and all the usual fixings, small fry and medium drink all for $10! Place was pretty busy but all the employees were working hard and seemed to enjoy it. Very friendly atmosphere and great food! Will definitely be back to try other options. Heard the onion rings were amazing but they were sold out when I got there but that says something for sure! Hope to get em next time!"
"Lady at the drive through window had the personality of a wet sock. Literally all she said was “hi”. Did not say anything you’d normally expect like “what can I get started”, how can I take your order”, etc. so I placed my order and she still didn’t say a word other than the total. The other lady who brought the food didn’t say anything either. Seems like they hate their job or something. The food was soggy and gross. Ordered a 12th man burger combo and it was covered in so much sauce and wilted lettuce and had very little taste other than grease. Fried mushrooms and curly fries were both very soggy and tasteless as well(I’m not sick I assure you). I really tried but I simply could not eat this disgusting food. Overall terrible experience and do not wish to ever go back. I’d get better tasting and fresher food at McDonald’s and that’s just sad."
"This is exactly what you would expect from a 50's Diner! Small, lots of burger options, and the smell of fried foods. If you are here, you have to check out this community staple. Great place, great food, and great people!!"
