"I used to love this thrift store, but lately they have upped their prices to reseller prices on most things. $9.99 for worn out Costco jeans that I can buy new for $12!? No thanks. I baby carrier for $50.99!?! I can buy the same style and brand of carrier on Facebook marketplace for $25-$40. Ouch! The price gouging is as bad as goodwill and value village. They used to have great prices and deals now you have to really hunt hard for a good deal."
"Walked in prepared to look. I grabbed a cart and 'filled' it. I got everything for under $50. I found a great scale, kitchen ware, and puzzles!"
"stopped by to donate clothing and household affects recently after my stepdad passed away. I washed and folded all items and donated only the best of what I had. The gentleman that came out to my truck proceeded to tear open a couple of bags. I have never seen this before and after this experience will probably not donate here again. I was driving a nice truck and was well dressed and it was very obvious from my appearance that I was not donating junk. I am very upset especially considering the reason behind this particular donation. If I could give you a minus rating, I would. I will take my business elsewhere."
"I discovered this store last year and came back today to buy plates and a warm jacket since I forgot to bring one. I love this store, although I think the prices have gone up a bit since last year. Still a bargain! And if you mention you saw their ad in the Tulip Festival guide you will get 20% off!"
"ALWAYS LOVE THIS STORE! They even had some nice gemstone rings! First time I have seen that! Most everything is usually neatly priced and packaged. Most items are clean and not stained or broken. They are such a good store compared to the Goodwill. The clothing prices were too high for me, though, and I am usually willing to pay but just, prices are getting too high in thrift stores. They get everything for free, and some stores like Value Village and the Stanwood Food bank Thrift store throw a LOT of our donations into THE REFUSE BIN! If I need some dress pants I'll go to Ross. I mean, FOR HEAVENS SAKES! The clothing at the thrift store SHOULDN'T be more than BRAND NEW clothing!"
