"This place was a great surprise. I really didn't know what to expect but came away quite pleased. Their menu has plenty of choices, including burgers, sandwiches, salads, and some comfort foods like Mac and Cheese. I chose the Mac and Cheese, which came with Brussel sprouts smothered in the creamy cheese sauce. (I know what you're thinking) It was great! I would definitely have it again if I didn't want to try one of the burgers next time. The restaurant is beautifully remodeled with great attention to detail, making it quite comfortable. The service was very friendly, but I think they were understaffed, so it was a little slow. Our waitress was busy, and we didn't get to see her as often as we should have. But she was working hard and always with a pleasant smile. We will definitely return to try some of the tempting burgers."
"I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner at the Newsroom Pub! I had their Bacon Smash Burger and it was excellent. The handmade patties were crispy in the edges but soft and full of flavour in the inside. I ordered a side of tartar sauce for my French fries and it was one of the best ones I’ve had! For dessert, the smash cookie with locally-made ice cream centre was the perfect ending to the meal."
"Cute little spot for a meal! Space felt warm and inviting, service was wonderful and the food was delicious! I had the mushroom and pepper smash burger with tomato soup and it was so so good! Would definitely go back!"
"I am very disappointed with this place, our food was completely burnt. The food did not have any flavor at all and it was solid as a rock. I mentioned it to the restaurant personnel but they did not seem to care."
"I don't think there's an atmosphere for drinking beer at the bar, and I think it's just a good place to eat with family. In a very neat interior decoration, story telling is great and there are many good spots to take pictures. I just had a beer and moved it to another place. Outdoor tables are also a place to choose from and recommended. I haven't tried food, so I can't evaluate it separately."
