Chandara House - Authentic Thai Cuisine

"Lynden is very lucky to have Chandera House. This is arguably the best Thai restaurant in Whatcom county comparable to Busara. I have dined in and taken out many times and have always been very satisfied. The owner truly cares and talks to customers to ensure satisfaction. The bistro on the Guide is third rate at best. For great food go to Chandera House located under the windmill on front street."

"This place can be hard to find on Front Street because it’s inside of a little old mall entrance. But what a pleasant surprise as far as the food goes, as well as the atmosphere. I was also quite shocked at the good pricing for the food. It was priced as though it was before the pandemic! The portions were a good size, and it tasted great. I had to pad kee mao. The service was absolutely perfect, and they were friendly and helpful. You can even sit along a little water canal and watch the Koi fish."

"Ordered the Pad Thai with tofu. Didn't care for it at first, thought it was too sweet. But after adding soy sauce, it was more to my liking. Appreciated that they seated me minutes before closing (had trouble finding the entrance). I'm willing to try them again, but will probably go back to my usual preference of curry. NOTE: the restaurant is inside the Dutch Village Mall."

"This is by far the best Thai food I have ever tasted. The server was friendly and professional. She was able to answer all of our questions and help make recommendations. The location was a little tricky to find but worth it. Stop by you won't be disappointed."
