"Some very good deals. The staff is friendly and very helpful."
"the people that work at this thrift store are very weird. they sit in the back doing absolutely nothing and do not help customers out. if they do, they have an attitude and it seems like they do not want to be there. the store is located in a very sketchy part of the neighborhood with homeless people shooting up five feet away. whidbey has other thrift stores that are more affordable and won’t make you feel unsafe. if you research waif, it is not a no kill shelter and they keep their animals in small, dirty cages with adoption fees that are astronomical. if your pet is lost and they find it, they will charge you to adopt them back. these people that run this place truly do not care about their animals or their customers and are just trying to make a quick buck. do not go here, there are better thrift stores with good caring customer service less than a mile away."
"HORRIBLE place. HORRIBLE staff. Please do not go here. The proceeds do not go towards the adoption center, they overprice dusty old items, the staff think they’re running a high end thrift store but they literally sell junk. The staff is grumpy and rude and some of the nastiest people I’ve ever met. If they treat humans like this, I can’t even imagine how they treat the cats next door. They turned down my donation of nice things, some even brand new AND were extremely rude about it. I guess this shady business only takes trash."
"A nice store, helping animals, and some great deals. Better than a crowded wally world any day and better customer service. Granted I've only been twice, but better than i.t. by a long ways and the prices are about the same on most things. 4 stars because video games are wayyy overpriced as is most the jewelry. Cheaper, we come to thrift because it's cheaper and you might find treasures. Great store"
"We stopped in on Christmas Eve. Looks like a great cause...but unfortunately we didn't find anything that caught our interest...probably already picked through for the holidays. We'll check it out again next time we take a trip to the island."
