Reviews
"This place has wonderful views and a warm atmosphere. Unfortunately both the restaurant and the some of the food was a bit cold. The fish and chips were fantastic. The service was fast and friendly."
"We went to Captain Whidbey for a romantic dinner and it didn’t disappoint. The drive to the restaurant was sublime and the location of the in is magical. From the moment you arrive until you leave, you will feel relaxed and you enjoy the moment. We had several dishes: - the bread, it was okay. I would suggest that they serve it fresh or at least warm with some additional dipping sides. Also, add 4-5 pieces of bread. - Captain burger, i would really recommend it . The meat was cooked to perfection and it had so many flavors to it. I really liked that it came with sea salt fries. - Crispy willapa bay oysters, was really good and it was my first time trying this dish. I would suggest that they add more portion to the dish and make it as a large plate. We really enjoyed our dinner with the view. Next time we are planning to stay over during the weekend. I really recommend this place! I can’t wait to be back."
"This place will give you all of feels. From the rustic location, to the stellar views and the stunning food. There's a gorgeous summer day so we chose to sit outside and definitely benefited from the amazing views. The outdoor seating area isn't large but it's very much picture-esque. Inside seating is also beautiful and benefits from large windows overlooking the outside. The bar is such a cool spot and it really gives off fishing lodge vibes. All of the food was incredibly fresh and very tasty. The fish and chips were stunning as was the clam chowder. I can't recommend this place enough."
"Really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Our group sat outside for a drink then moved inside for dinner. The octopus risotto was amazing and the French fries were super tasty. Would definitely eat there again."
"Beautiful views. Great service. Food is very mediocre with a high price. Tartine, peppers and charcuterie board were good. Roast chicken was dry and chewy, polenta was solid chunk. Risotto was pasty. Carrot cake was a dry carrot bread, and peach cobbler appeared to be canned peaches with 'meh flavor. Coffee came with an odd layer of bubbles on it, and was very burnt."
