"I'm reluctant to leave a review simply because I want to keep this hidden gem a secret for our own pleasure whenever we're in Coupeville... but these good people deserve all the attention they can get. THE COCKTAILS: I am picky. And if I am going to drink, it needs to be well worth it. I was so pleasantly amused and delighted by the representation, the balance, the perfect bitterness and distant sweetness of their special cocktail of the evening. It was EXACTLY what I needed. My husband had their Old Fashioned and was astonished. THE FOOD: We only had the Overboard platter, vegetarian, and they NAILED IT. The ingredients were all honored in a beautiful and delicate way. None of the flavors were overbearing or flashy, everything tasted as it should leaving room for the ingredients to shine. The bread was filling and we left slightly lifted and feeling full. THE VIEW: In combination with the intimate space, it elevated the experience to sheer perfection. We're just tired of having to sort through pizza joints with so-so plates and humdrum crust, fried seafood restaurants that can be found everywhere, Burgers (FFS, just NO), freezer food, unimaginative fare... it's just so tiring. Overboard gave us an experience that was so special. Our appreciation is immense. As much as I want to keep this little secret to ourselves, we have to let the cat out of the bag to be sure this place thrives for many years to come."
