"Fabulous park right on the river, hence the "Levee" in the name of the park. Lovely bandshell that looks out over the river and yes, this is the Mississippi. Plenty of parking, plenty of walking paths and lots of benches. If you're looking for a place with a great background for your photos, this is it. There's even a public restroom!"
"We love the variety of events and activities that are held at Levee Park in Hastings, MN. There is always something going on, whether it's a music performance, a carnival, fireworks on the 4th of July, or a movie night. The park is also a great place to go for a walk or bike ride, as it has several paths that run parallel to the Mississippi River. We highly recommend checking out Levee Park if you're looking for a fun and active place to spend your time. * The park is located in the heart of downtown Hastings, making it easy to get to and from. * There is plenty of parking available at the park. * The park is open year-round, but it is especially beautiful during the summer months. * The park is wheelchair accessible."
"Wonderful park, nice paved walking paths, grest views of the river and bridges, they even have an area to creat you own music. We even got to see a train cross the bridges. Our dogs really enjoyed the walk, and it was open enough to see if other dogs were approaching."
"Loved this park, right on the river. Nice paved walking path great for longboarding biking ect. Swings a little ways down near the water to sit and watch the ducks and harmony park was also there to make music on the instruments. We got ice cream at the local DQ and watched the sunset. Would recommend checking this out great for all ages!"
"Beautiful place to walk with dogs or your boyfriend. Or both!! Seriously though it’s such a nice walk that is super spacious, lots of good views, and little pieces of historic information about the park. Definitely worth the drive if you’re coming from the cities. I’ve been through Hastings over 50 times, and finally checked out the historic downtown. I really wish I would’ve a long time ago! Love this city!!"
