"The map directions were a little off. So make sure to stay on McIntosh Road East and park by the Westbank Edition sign. I think there might be other entrances though. This has a steep incline and a lot of rocks, so you should wear thick shoes or specific hiking boots/shoes. This is more of a natural trail, so you will have to climb over some fallen trees, watch your step with rocks, and the weeds. Personally, I like that. There are signs and benches for you to stop and take a break. There is also a nice scenic view of La Crescent Minnesota."

"Hard to believe this beautiful hiking trail is in the middle of La Crescent. Only a little challenging for everyone in our group. Super view from the top."

"First off. The trail head looks like it is in someone's back yard. So If you wish to feel like you are trespassing and then meandering through a woodland area this is for you. After getting through this person's back yard you are under heavy canopy up elevation. When you hit the center of all the trail heads you will be met with, not a view, but a table... in the middle of the woods. I continued through more heavy woods and grass lands through eagles bluff trail to find the one view point witch was mediocre at best. The trails are well defined and well maintained. But if you want good views this isn't the trail for you."
