"You'll pay $7 inside the office at the entrance and then drive a few minutes past the camp and grilling signs till you see the pond appear. Grab the sand toys and beach towels but not the floaties as those are not allowed. They don't have a concession stand but you are allowed to bring your own food. Parking is ample and clean bathrooms! Thank you to tue staff and people visiting who keep it that way. There are huge umbrellas for shade."
"Lake Elmo swim pond is geared towards families that have young children. The waters deepest point is close to 4 1/2 feet. They offer a ramp into the swim pond making it accessible to everyone. They have a break at the top of every hour and life guards on duty. This is a great place for children and adults alike."
"This place is great, super clean and well maintained, the staff does a wonderful job has everything you can ask for. Lots of parking, it was busy but didn't feel crowded. Clean water, lifeguards that actually do their job, nice sand for the kids to play in, good bathrooms and concessions, thoughtful accomodations to make it accessible to people with handicaps or in wheelchairs. Would recommend to everyone to check it out!"
"Lake Elmo Swim Pond was a great place to take the kids on a hot summer day. It’s not too deep (about chest deep for adults), it’s clean (minus all of the kid pee), and it has a nice sandy bottom and beach. Requires Washington County Parks pass - $7 for the day or $30 for the season (could be $35… I forgot). State Park pass or license plates don’t work. No other fees to use the pond."
