"This is the best tubing in Big Bear. The staff is chill, so they let you go down in big groups and let your kids sit in the tubes on the conveyor belt. Also, you have re-entry all day, so you can go at 10am for an hour or two, head back to the condo for lunch and to let the kids warm up, then tube for another hour or two until 4pm. That makes it well worth the $35/$45 per person, as opposed to other spots that give you one 90 minute session. That being said, many of the tubes are old and worn, and two of the runs were closed when we went. It’s not perfect, but it was a very fun time."
"If snow what play is what you seek, then Big Bear Snow Play is your destination! You only need your warm gear and $45 pp. It's worth the trouble of finding a place to enjoy the snow. Most areas are private property, dangerous or both. Don't try to find a place for snow with the kids, you'll just end up frustrated and with possibly a citation for parking in an area you shouldn't. Get the pass, enjoy the day. Parents can tailgate while the kids play."
"31 January 2023 I recently visited Big Bear Snow Play, anticipating a day full of fun and excitement. Unfortunately, my experience was far from what I had hoped for. The organization of the facility was lacking, with little to no direction provided to visitors, leaving many, including myself, confused and frustrated. The pricing at Big Bear Snow Play is on the higher side, which wouldn’t have been an issue if the experience had matched the cost. However, the value for money here is questionable. The high cost, coupled with the disorganization, significantly diminished the overall enjoyment of the visit. A notable concern was the restroom facilities. The number of stalls available for both men and women was insufficient, leading to long waits and discomfort. For a place that attracts a significant number of visitors, this is a major oversight and something that needs urgent attention. In my opinion, Big Bear Snow Play is not worth the money. The lack of proper management and inadequate facilities greatly impacted the overall experience. I left feeling that my time and money could have been better spent elsewhere. For those considering a visit, I would suggest looking into other options where you might find better value and a more enjoyable experience."
"Get there early, there is a lot of people that want to enjoy the snow, and while this place is great, there seems to be no limit to how many people they let in. The photo I took was taken around 1:45pm, the line is still super long. Good luck finding a tube if you show up after 12pm. Still, we had a great time, did a lot of tubing early so we didn't mind to lines."
