Arroyo Verde Hiking Trails

"I have so much fun here. You get to choose any trail you want to go on for that day. I get a good work out. It's a dirt trail so when it rains it's muddy. It's also a great dog park. The atmosphere is very nice and I love being out there. My moods improve when I walk and hike here."

"Hidden jewel in the city of Ventura. Highly recommend park as it offers plenty for people of all ages and lifestyles to do. Park is clean and provides excellent walking/hiking trails for all levels. Park could be monitored a bit closer due to the visitors not complying with park rules often but for the most part, park holds up well and looks great."

"I am a heavy honey tourist that takes walks recreationally. This park is super amazing. There are multiple options to make your walk/hike/run as difficult as you like and all offer wonderful views. I will admit that I was physically wanting to die on some of the steep inclines but I made it. Literally- at one point I thought I might have to bear crawl -but that could be me being dramatic because I saw a hottie with a body RUNNING and encouraging his dog to keep up. I was thinking don’t mind me I’m just the middle aged overweight tourist trying to have some off the beaten path fun. This park is very popular and you’ll be sure to find lots of dogs, people, and the occasional out of shape tourist."
