"Update 2 weeks after our meeting (dropping from 5 stars to 2): I was initially told via email that there is no charge for the first appointment. However, two weeks after our meeting I received an invoice for $150. Would not have minded paying for it if they had been up front about the cost (cost seems fair), but disappointed by the surprise bill, lack of understanding in response, and the way billing was handled (no mention of it during the actual meeting). From 9/13: I met with Mr. Launder for a consultation regarding tax advice and thinking through investment options. He talked through my questions thoroughly and thoughtfully - offered great ideas to consider. He also took the time to think through past tax filing confusion points with me to help avoid issues in the future. Would definitely recommend him for investment planning, tax help, or general tax/finance questions."

"I trusted my retirement account to Dave Baker from Baker and Launder starting in February 2010 until July 2019. During this time the DJIA has grown from 10,000 to over 26,000. Although my account could and should have easily doubled during this time my account averaged Around 4 percent growth per year. This was way below any of the major indexes and any of the charts my account was compared to show my account should have been much much more. He also invested a large amount of my portfolio in Northstar a real estate investment trust that is a very risky investment with little chance of a return or even getting your money back! Why would a financial expert do this? Because Dave makes a high commission for selling REIT’S!! When asked why he invested in such a high risk investment without telling me it was high risk his reply was “it was in the prospectus “. Not exactly what you want to hear from a so called expert you trusted your portfolio to. Obviously I wish I never would have went to Baker and Launder and would be much closer to retirement if I had gone elsewhere. AVOiD this place. I wish I had!"
