So I checked out Oak Bank in Fitchburg. I have been so happy with this bank over the last 10 years. They helped me through refinancing my Verona home with a great 3% interest rate, then when I purchased a second home in Maryland last year, Carrie Montgomery went above and beyond to help me structure an equity loan and mortgage on my new MD house. Recently I thought I had lost a check, as no number was recorded in my checkbook, and out of precaution I canceled that check. However, Stephanie East phoned me to let me know that a valid check came through under my missing check number....I had just not entered it into my checkbook record.
