"Edit: I have witnessed Ed be discrimatory towards multiple customers. I was in last week, after a customer finished his business in front of me, Ed made derogatory comments about him to another employee, including "oh did you ask him how to pronounce his name" while laughing. Extremely unprofessional. Original: What kind of bank doesn't have any hours on the weekend? Last time I was in there the bank manager was extremely rude and not helpful at all."
"This review isn’t going towards First Citizens itself but to the manager Ed at this branch. When I noticed that all of my money had been taken out of my account due to fraud I was almost in tears. Ed had assured me he would do whatever he could to get it back in that night. I could tell how serious he was taking this and just how important it was to him. He even gave me his personal number if something were to happen and I needed immediate help. He called me every hour updating me with what he was working on and stayed late to make sure I had my money back. Extremely grateful I had someone like him to help me out in one of the worst situations. Thanks so much, Ed K."
"ATM was broken 4 months ago - Due to minimal locations, I had to drive 30 minutes just to figure this out. Yesterday, I went to this same location to pull money out of the ATM.. Sorry, ATM is broken..... Again? Still? Arent you a bank??????? Not to mention, when I was FINALLY able to pull the money out last time, apparently it was too much and they locked down my bank account due to potential fraud..... The headache in just restoring my account was enough to make me want to switch banks.. Start moving your money out of banks people, crypto and a new currency is coming, the banks arent ready for it!"
"If you R NOT opening on weekends, Why dont U close 7pm so we have time to go to bank?? Most of us get out at 5pm when u r close. This how businesses go down, u dont think of the customer, maybe time to look for another bank."
"First Citizens Bank (formerly Guaranty Bank) has gone from the finest consumer bank in town to the absolute worst. The local staff are as nice as ever however the dramatic change in policy/procedure/customer service and Fees had made this bank and what is left of the local chain a misery to deal with. They are clearly on a mission to chase away all local customers. As they agreed to service the customers as part of the takeover they could not outright shed the local customers. Instead they have made it as difficult and as expensive as possible to bank with them in an effort to wind down any local responsibly and to be able to take the outstanding loans and debt they bought back to the southeast where the bank is located and service from there. I'm quite sure the local staff has been suing a different tune and I feel bad that their customer relationships are damaged every day when the home office does something else to inconvenience customers that have grown to trust local staff. Anyway the bank should be avoided at all cost. Or if you are vindictive, open a small account and use it the minimum amount to keep it open thus delaying their hope of withdrawing from the area."
