"They have owe me over 1000 dollars for almost 4 months now."
"Horrible place!! Understaffed and inexperienced to be dealing with certain situations. Staff is clueless"
"Pure hell, constant screaming from the demented residents that stay here. I've heard it compared to a psych ward, which I can agree with. Was never given any help for my situation, and they triggered my first major psychological breakdown which led to me being banned from here."
"Was holed up at this place over an incorrect schizophrenia diagnosis, during which time I lost my apartment (since I was not allowed to look for work) and eventually was sent home to live with my parents. Staff are next to blind - no one questioned my diagnosis (given some weeks prior while while I was kept at Winnebago) even though I am clearly lucid to anyone with a pair of eyes. Only one staff member that I recall would I personally trust with their position over recovering addicts, the mentally ill, etc."
"After 6 years of being clean I relapsed, but quickly made the decision to seek help..before things got completely out of hand. The first place I sought help from was Tellurian, and was greatly disappointed. I met with a counselor, John Smith, who asked me a few questions regarding my drug use. I informed him the best I could, even brought along someone to help me communicate my situation. I was desperate for help, and due to my insurance this place was my only option. After meeting with me for a short time.. John assured me that my drug use (despite my history) wasn't that bad.. and that it sounded as if I needed more of a therapist than a drug rehab place. After trying to convince him that my addiction, and mental health go hand in hand ..and that it took a lot for me to get here.. I walked out. He wasn't going to hear what I was saying at all, and had no intentions of helping me. I may not be the 'expert' trained at some money sucking college, but I know that telling an addict their drug use isn't bad enough for rehab (yet) is probably the worst possible thing you can do. Thankfully I had someone there to advocate for me, and assure me that what I was told was total BS. I fear for the addict that goes in there without any support who is turned away because they haven't hit their drug quota (according to John Smith). Breaks my heart.. and I hope this review helps to change that. I have to admit that I'm grateful I didn't get my recovery from this place ... I urge everyone I know to go else where if they have that option."
